Team manager Richard Carroll had this to say ” after a fine result last week beating top of the league Bear FC we knew a victory could take us top but in the dire weather conditions that yesterday held it was going to be a tough call especially as we were playing local rivals Greyfriers Celtic and going in at half time i goal down but a fine display in the second half saw us take the game 6-2. The lads rally well after half time after i gave out a few stern words and constructive advice” Richard added ” we have a tough trip to bestwood next Sunday but in this league there are no easy games and if we wont to win the league then we have to go to teams and beat them”.
Bestwood were recently in the news after a altercation during there game versus Sycamore saw a sycamore player stabbed during a half time team talk.
NSF LockSmart Manager Richard Carroll added ” the altercation that happened during the bestwood game was not connected to the football match and should not reflect on any of the teams or the league – hopefully those responable will be found and we wish a swift recovery to the player who was hurt.”
