When i try to explain layered security the best way i find is to ask them if they have a home computer connected to the internet and how do they protect themself’s from virus’s and theft of personal data (passwords, bank account details) almost all 98/99% state they have installed a quality antivirus software from a large company that include firewalls and every other features that they would need and more to protect there data – that i say is layered security.
