DETECTIVES are hunting three men who forced their way into a Gedling couple’s home to steal cash and jewellery. 

The woman living in the gedling area of the city answered the door at around 6.30pm on Sunday and was confronted by three masked men, who barged their way into the house.

They threatened the woman and her husband, although no weapons were used and neither victim was injured.

All three men were wearing dark clothing, hooded tops and Balaclava helmets. The first is described as of mixed race, around 6ft, of medium build, with a local accent. The second is black, also around 6ft, of stocky build, with a West Midlands accent. The third is also black, and around 5ft 8in.

For those who don’t know the area Gedling in Nottingham is not a millionaires paradise but a ordinary suburb just out side the city center house prices average £150,000, Most people have average jobs and average salaries – but this crime is on the increase across the UK.

Criminals are now targeting ordinary folk when they least expect it and are prepared to use extreme violence very very small monetary gains.
