The big news today was the launch of the General Election – Gordon Brown visited the queen to absolve government and all party’s began their charm offensive on the campaign trail, so for the next few weeks we will hear from all sides about how they will inject funds into schools, NHS and cut crime.
Most of the party’s will tell the public the same story “were tough on crime” but tell that to the OAP who been robbed of their pension for the second time in there own home, No i don’t think any party’s will have any advice for them.
When the day comes to vote hopefully one party, one leader will stand up for the people of this nation and increase the penalties for dwelling burglary to the point that criminals dare not to commit this crime because the penalty far out ways the rewards.
Maybe just to much politics in the news today for me to not have a rant.
