After a very long night – credit to Sunderland who always seem to do their job excellent and give their results first unlike some that still don’t have their results in(at time of writing) and a even longer day the general election draws to a close with no out right winner, the Tory’s have won but with out the majority of seats(226) we have the pleasure of a hung parliament.
What does this mean to you and i? well for the time being our government is in limbo which may have a detrimental effect after the weekend when the stock markets open, who would blame a sign of no confidence in our financial system when as a nation we cannot agree as a majority what would be best for our self’s, the knock on being this could damage recovery and add more length to the economic trouble we have struggled to shift for the past couple of years that is damaging business and personal households.
The longer we are in a recession the higher the chance you will be a victim of crime – the rise in crime rates and recession go hand in hand – so the faster we can sort out who governs this country and steer us out of the recession the faster the better.
